There is something so profoundly awful about this clothing line. Who buys it? It would have to be dedicated fans of Beyonce. No one (no one) is buying it because of its fashion forward styling. Frankly put, it's terribly tacky. It's trendy in the worst way -- you wear it once and everyone will remember it when you wear it again (and not in a fond way). It also celebrates the oh-so-very-five-minutes-ago bling-bling ghetto garb. The metallic gold or silver prominent accents. The logo shouting the label out.
Lately, we've been realizing that stylishly subtle and flattering clothes in subdued or subtle patterns or solid colors are the way to go -- yes, it's taken that long for us to realize what is probably a widely realized fashion truth. As cute as some trendy things may be, we have to give it plenty of consideration. But we just couldn't give anything from this line any consideration. But that's just us. That's the way we roll.

Dream of dressing like Mariah Carey. We find this fascinating that Dereon would design an outfit that is so much the staple of a rival singer’s wardrobe.
