Bo Bice

This week America will be voting – to determine who will be the Final two contestants on American Idol. Throughout the season, each contestant has been assigned a single phone number for voting purposes. Now fans of Bo Bice, Vonzell Solomon and Carrie Underwood will have an expanded opportunity to cast their votes after Tuesday’s performance show, because each contestant will be assigned two phone numbers instead of one on American Idol Tuesday, May 17 (8 p.m. ET live/PT tape-delayed) on Fox. Immediately after the show, the phone lines will open and American Idol viewers can vote for their favorite singer by calling either of two toll-free numbers assigned to that contestant. idolonfox.com for American Idol news and tickets to the show.

In other Fox News:

Fox ordered a second season of Trading Spouses: Meet Your New Mommy. In season two of the unscripted series, more moms and dads leave their own family to take over – for one week – a family much different from their own. Families participating in the show will again receive a $50,000 prize but, unbeknownst to the participants, how the cash is spent will be up to the surrogate parent. The twist is one of many in the unscripted Fox series that ups the ante on the classic fish-out-of-water story.Spouses: Meet Your New Mommy is from Rocket Science Laboratories, the producers of “My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiancé” and “Joe Millionaire.” Jean-Michel Michenaud and Chris Cowan serve as executive producers. Jeff Cvengros is co-executive producer. Charles Duncombe serves as executive in charge of production.
