Grey’s Anatomy Cast Celebrates Second Season on DVD
Tuesday, September 5, 2006. Patrick Dempsey and Ellen Pompeo and other cast members of the multiple Emmy nominated series reunited at Social to celebrate the second season’s arrival to DVD. Other attendees included Sandra Oh, Isaiah Washington, Justin Chambers, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens Jr., Kate Walsh, Sara Ramirez, Kate Burton, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Creator Shonda Rhimes.
In the show’s second season, the doctors and surgical interns at Seattle Grace Hospital aren’t just making their rounds, they’re finding their way. Life, friendship and love get even more intense when some grow closer and others fall further apart. Grey’s Anatomy Season 2 earned eleven 2006 Emmy® Award nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Supporting Actress (Sandra Oh and Chandra Wilson), Outstanding Guest Actor (Kyle Chandler), Outstanding Guest Actress (Kate Burton, Christina Ricci), and Outstanding Writing, Casting, and Makeup.
Grey’s Anatomy The Complete Second Season: Uncut will be released on DVD on September 12, 2006 from Touchstone Television and Buena Vista Home Entertainment.
