Steve Irwin may have two biological sisters, but it was Wes Mannion (see left with the Irwin family in a Crocodile Hunter/Australia Zoo gallery shot, and then, right at the memorial with Terri and Bindi) who was his little brother. Wes even resembles Steve, doesn't he?

On Steve's website for Australia Zoo, he chronicled, in the "Good Old Days" pages, how Wes came to into his life when he was still a little boy. Wes spent his childhood and teenhood learning from Steve and Steve's dad Bob Irwin, who also considered Wes another son ("Dad and Mum loved Wes like my little brother and in no time at all, he was allowed to feed the freshies from the fence." was the caption accompanying a photo from the mid-1980s).
