A tiny note on denim from BeansTalk's ME

We would never assume we know 1/32nd of what associate editor Andrea Goodwin, our resident nail and denim expert. Want a good quote? She can give you one. A simple recommendation for what will look good on you? Andrea has the answers.

However, despite our much shorter, stockier stature, we occasionally wear denim jeans, too. And we wear more than Levis. Right now we're addicted to two jeans that are...ready for this? No longer available on the market. The pair on the left are ABS by Allen Schwartz, who still makes denim., but we're assuming this style is not available anymore because we got them at a discount department store. We miraculously found this pair, that fit us perfectly (OK, we admit it, they're a little tight on our belly), but even more so, the length was just right. Best of all, these $200 jeans were 10% of the original price, at $20 at Marshall's, where they had been marked down like four times. We love 'em.

The other jeans we love -- and we have several pair -- are the Bella Dahl for mature women, Bella Elementos. We can't find them anywhere except at Ross Dress for Less, although we did get a couple pair at Loehmann's. They're still around at Ross for $13.99, which is a stunningly low price, since they originally retailed for about $187. I also got a couple of pair of the stretch cords (in two gorgeous colors, a khaki with shades of green, and a brown).
