Bermudas are back. Landes Daily was created by Los Angeles native, Rich Landes, whose signature line features t-shirts and thermals. For Spring ’05, Landes Daily expanded to tees for men and women, with the introduction of the JFK Bermuda Short. "The American dream, hard work mixed with hard play, is at the root of my choice in naming this new item. JFK embodies the United States at a certain time in history - and this feeling has stayed with me as inspiration for this new collection" says Landes. "When I think of JFK's style, I can almost see him in his plaid bermuda shorts or classic chino walking along the ocean in Hyannisport, Mass in the 1950’s. The shorts are paired with a white t-shirt, no socks, and Jack Purcells. I wanted to create a fresh, yet sexy and feminine version of this look for women - from this was born the Madras Short for Spring.”

JKF Blue Plaid and Pink Plaid Bermuda shorts are “tomboy” style tailored for a woman’s body. The waist line sits low on the hips, with the hem falling just below the knee. The fit is snug through the hips, as it hangs comfortably sexy throughout the thigh. Worn with a simple flip flop, paired with sexy stilettos, or with a pair of funky knee high boots.

Made from genuine Madras fabric, imported from Madras, India, the JFK Blue and the JFK Pink retail for $130. Made in the USA and available at Fred Segal Santa Monica and Planet Blue Malibu.
