Mira Nair (Monsoon Wedding) directs. The DVD's bonus features include behind-the-scenes interviews with cast and filmmakers, as well as deleted scenes. Synopsis The film tells the story of Becky Sharp (Reese Witherspoon), who yearns for a more glamorous life than her birthright promises. Becky schemes and seduces her way to the top of society by any means possible, deploying all her wit, guile, and sexuality. But intrigue and romance collide as Becky's schemes turn a society that would not accept her into one that could not resist her.
