The Week Diana Died — U.S. Premiere

Made by an outstanding team of BAFTA-winning filmmakers for the 10th anniversary of her death, this documentary follows the twists and turns of that extraordinary week, featuring insider testimony from the Palace, the government, and close friends and associates — some speaking out for the first time. Using previously unseen footage and making full use of the BBC’s unique archive, Diana’s poignant story is pieced together. The landmark film goes beyond Diana's death to look at her life and legacy, following her footsteps back in time to meet people all over the world whose lives were changed by their encounter with the people’s princess. What was Diana’s secret, and where did the fairytale go so wrong?

On the 10th anniversary of her death, BBC AMERICA takes a three-part look at the remarkable life of Princess Diana. First, tune in for Diana’s Legacy, and learn about the impact she continues to have on the British public to this day.
