On the set of an Elizabethan period piece, Andy (Ricky Gervais) pitches a sitcom-pilot script to Patrick Stewart, who reveals a new side of his personality. Later, after surviving his agent's (Stephen Merchant) ineptitude, Andy nearly undermines a promising relationship at the BBC, blaming the incident on the artless Maggie (Ashley Jensen).
