Fox Reality “Reality Remix”

Fox Reality, the all reality, all-the-time channel dedicated to reality programming from the major networks, signed Kennedy to host their first original program – “Reality Remix.” This daily half-hour show will premiere Monday, October 24, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT) on Fox Reality.

Kennedy started as an intern and later part-time DJ at KROQ-FM in Los Angeles. She became a part of the “Kevin and Bean” morning show while hosting overnights full-time. Highlights included a nightly poetry reading as well as an exclusive interview with former Vice President Dan Quayle.

Two days after her 20th birthday, Kennedy moved to NewYork and became an MTV VJ, a job she held for nearly six years. In addition to interviewing stars such as Tom Cruise, Nicolas Cage and numerous musicians, Kennedy also hosted “Alternative Nation,” an alternative video music show. She acted as a correspondent for MTV News at such events as the Grammy Awards, Video Music Awards, Woodstock and NHL all-star games, and hosted a series of specials called “How To With Kennedy.” Here she learned to play tennis from Pete Sampras, play drums with Lars Ullrich and got cooking lessons from Emeril.

While in New York, Kennedy also hosted a weekly pop-culture/lifestyle show for BBC Radio One called “Kennedy NYC.” She also hosted “Left of the Dial,” a syndicated alternative music show picked up by 300+ college radio stations.

After MTV, Kennedy followed her love of sports and snowboarding to Nagano, Japan for the Olympic Winter Games, where she acted as a correspondent. Kennedy then went to Seattle, with her husband/professional snowboarder Dave Lee, and she hosted a daily talk show called “The Buzz” on KQBZ-FM. After six months on air, Kennedy won a Soundie Radio Award for Best Talk/Sports show. Her show was known for regular advice segments, candid political commentary as well as frank talk about sex, PMS and buying the perfect handbag. She was profiled by the BBC in a segment called “The Real Frazier.” At this time, she also published a book for young women called “Hey Ladies: Tales and Tips for Curious Girls.”

Kennedy then moved to Los Angeles to host, with Ahmet Zappa, “The Future With Ahmet and Kennedy” for the Comedy World Radio Network. After the demise of Comedy World, Kennedy was sought out by the Game Show Network to host “Friend or Foe,” which ran from 2002-2003. She also hosted the political recall game show “Who Wants To Be Governor of California: The Debating Game” starring gubernatorial hopefuls Gary Coleman and porn-star Mary Carey.

In 2005, Kennedy hosted “Poker Royale: Battle of the Sexes” with Tom Leykis (also for GSN), and appeared weekly on the pop-culture wrap-up show “Best Week Ever” for VH1. She is a regular pop-culture/political pundit on MSNBC’s “Scarborough Country,” plus contributes as an entertainment expert for E Entertainment.
