Rib Eatin' Rapper

On Sunday night, October 23, 2005 west coast rapper and MTV star, XHIBIT, cruised into Mr. Cecil's California Ribs in Sherman Oaks in his dark green Bentley. XHIBIT and a buddy sat at the bar, watching Game 2 of the World Series. They were joined by a lady friend and the trio dined on BBQ baby back ribs, BBQ beef ribs, BBQ chicken, hushpuppies, cornbread, coleslaw and BBQ baked beans. XHIBIT was overhead saying, "Man, these ribs are almost as good as the game!"

Scrubs Cast Takes a Ribbin'

On Friday night, October 21, 2005, the cast and crew of "Scrubs" came in to Mr. Cecil's California Ribs in Sherman Oaks to celebrate the taping of their 100th episode.
Mandy Moore joined her beau, Zack Braff (Dr. John 'J.D.' Dorian) for the evening's festivities as the party of 70+ enjoyed BBQ beef and baby back ribs, hush puppies, buffalo wings and French fries. One partygoer raved about the beef ribs while Mandy Moore said, "I absolutely love these fries with the ranch dressing!" Tips were more than generous.

Scrubs' Faison Goes Back for More

On Monday night, October 24, 2005, Scrubs' star Donald Faison showed up again, this time with two buddies. They ordered 'Mr. Cecil's Football Basket Special,' which consists of a full rack of baby back ribs, BBQ beans and creamy coleslaw.
