Nick Jr. will premiere the one-hour special Dora's Dance to the Rescue on Friday, November 11, 2005 (11 a.m., ET/PT).

Dancin’ Dora!

Dora is joined by her faithful pal Boots, and the pair dance, spin, shake and wiggle along on an adventure to help save Swiper the Fox, who is trapped inside a magic bottle. According to the bottle, there is only one way to free Swiper. Dora and Boots must dance their way to the castle to win one big wish, and wish Swiper free.

Dora’s dance party continues with the release of “Dora the Explorer Dance Fiesta!” CD from Nick Records/Sony BMG. The CD features timeless pop tunes that kids and moms already love, like “Celebration,” “La Bamba,” “Get on Your Feet” and “Oye Como Va” as sung by Dora and her friends. “Dora the Explorer Dance Fiesta!” also features two duets with Grammy-Award Winners Carlos Santana and Los Lonely Boys.

Dora’s Dance to the Rescue” is also available on DVD from Paramount Home Video, starting tomorrow, October 11, 2005

Dora the Explorer, which airs at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. weekdays on Nick Jr. and weekends on CBS (check local listings), is a play-along, animated adventure series starring Dora, a seven-year-old Latina heroine whose adventures take place in an imaginative, tropical world filled with jungles, beaches and rainforests. Dora explores her world just as preschoolers do everyday, and the show is designed to actively engage its audience in an interactive quest using a variety of learning techniques.
