ABC’s Extreme Makeover Expert and Color Specialist Kim Vo Brings Talents to Las Vegas
Kim Vo, who worked on the television series “Extreme Makeover,” and who also appears on E! Network's The Daily 10, brings his talents to Las Vegas with the December opening of his salon at The Mirage.
“I am excited to be a part of such a dynamic Las Vegas resort,” Kim Vo said. “With this new salon, I will have the opportunity to incorporate special salon spaces to support the best in beauty consultation and services. I know the guests will love it!”
Under his direction, the salon will offer the latest in hair trends and treatments as well as manicures, pedicures, hair extensions and personalized makeup services. A retail area will feature the newest collection of Kim Vo products, specialty apparel plus unique accessories and gifts. A barbershop will provide men’s grooming products along with traditional services. When Vo is not at the salon, he will utilize the latest in high-tech so he can interact with clients from his salon in West Hollywood. Vo, whose clients include Kate Hudson, Teri Hatcher, Kirsten Dunst, Pamela Anderson and Jenny McCarthy, will train all stylists and colorists to ensure that his high standards of both styling and color are maintained.
Designed by Architropolis, the Kim Vo Salon will use a high contrast palette of black, charcoal, taupe, white and silver. Mirrored-tile walls, crystal lighting fixtures, burnished Venetian plaster and a restorative Birch Garden culminating in a calming water feature will welcome guests as they enter this world of beauty.
Starting with an expansive new glass storefront, the design promises to excite and exhilarate guests entering the high-energy public spaces, then will cleverly and seamlessly transition each guest into a calming, sensuous atmosphere through the use of dramatic lighting and art. All the amenities expected of a world-class salon will be waiting within.
