Clients Want More of Morrison

It’s a long walk down that red carpet, which is why Emmy attendees like Kathy Griffin, Paula Abdul, Neil Patrick Harris, Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman of High School Musical and Tim Daly of The Sopranos and The Practice first headed to the Silver Spoon Penthouse for pre-event strand fortification from Joico. There they found Joico artist (and winner of Bravo-TV’s Shear Genius competition) Anthony Morrison standing by with plenty of healthy hair tips, plus gift bags stocked with three of the company’s essential glam-aids: K-PAK Shampoo and Conditioner and the brand new Split Ends Mender —a breakthrough formula which actually adheres to split tips and fuses them together, creating a durable, long-lasting bond—was a hit with all of the on-camera types whose looks have to stand up to the scrutiny of high-def.

Morrison has been super busy this season. From requests by networks and producers for auditions for sitcoms, personal appearances, and an appearance on “The Today Show” to being a presenter at NAHA, being featured in and styling for a shoot for Allure, Morrison sees this moment as an opportunity to make his mark in the global beauty and lifestyle market. “It’s about integrating and personalizing the whole package when you want to feel and look your best."

As the owner of the Londoner Salon and Day Spa in Manhattan Beach, Morrison balances his time between his busy clientele, traveling the world educating other hairstylists and salon professionals, working with broadcast and print media for on camera and behind the scenes lifestyle media, and building a line of branded hair and accessories products.

“It was a great two days,” enthuses Morrison, who was recruited to do Kathy “D-List” Griffin’s hair for the actual Emmy ceremony later in the week. “We even overhead one of the guests say that our room was the most fun and the friendliest at the event!”

BeansTalk was lucky enough to walk away with a gift of JOICO products. The luxurious shampoo and conditioner are already doing wonders for this sun-damaged summer hair. We really needed the "reconstruct" this product offers.
