An Architectural Invite is created for the ET Emmy fête at the Walt Disney Concert Hall

The invites are out for this year’s 11th Annual Entertainment Tonight Emmy Party sponsored by People to be held at the Frank Gehry-designed Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 16th. ET and People continue to raise the bar with the creative elements behind Emmy night’s “hottest ticket in town.” This year, ET enlisted YESDESIGNGROUP to come up with an innovative invitation.

YESDESIGNGROUP created an invitation inspired by the materials utilized to construct the magnificent Disney Concert Hall. The invite is comprised of three different double-sided cards made out of cherry wood veneer, brushed aluminum, charcoal with foil metallic paper. Each double-sided card is cut on a bias.

Mirroring the unique architecture of the venue, YESDESIGNGROUP chose a transparent 5” square Lucite cube to house and enclose each card so it would arch just as the Concert Hall arches. The piece is multifaceted with information printed on both sides of all three cards– forcing the recipient to turn the cube and peer inside to discover all of the pertinent details.

“We are very proud of how this piece came to life from concept to execution. It will go down as one of the best in our repertoire,” stated Lori J. Posner, owner of YESDESIGNGROUP. “We had a wonderful time working with ET on this project.”
