Brando on the Block

A collection of kimono robes that belonged to Marlon Brando, which are part of an auction of Brando's personal property, are displayed during a press preview at Christie's auction house in New York, June 24, 2005. Christie's will auction over 320 lots of stage, screen and personal ephemera from the late movie star on June 30, 2005 that is expected to realize in excess of $1,000,000. Also included: 1972 working script for the movie 'The Godfather,' an electric piano valued at $1500, cowboy boots at $500, a letter from Jack Keroac asking Brando to consider a role in his "On the Road," and many others.
